Copyright Policy

Authors are required to sign the Copyright Transfer Agreement after the manuscript is accepted by the journal. Authors shall agree to transfer the copyright of their paper to the Editorial Office of Journal of Sun Yat-sen University. The Editorial Office has rights to use the paper within the validity period of the transfer, including but not limited to the following rights worldwide: compilation (all or part of the paper) for print edition, electronic edition and new media edition in the future, reproduction, translation, information network dissemination, distribution, and licensing databases for indexing. The editorial office has right to license all or part of the above rights to a third-party. The copyright transfer fee is included in the remuneration paid by the journal.

Journal of Sun Yat-sen University (Medical Sciences) is an open access journal. The articles are open access under the CC BY-NC 4.0 License. Please refer to the “Open Access Statement” page for detailed description.
